WHO SHOULD MOURINHO SIGN??

Manchester United are looking to strengthen their defence in this transfer window and they’ve lined up 4 defenders who had a stellar and strong performance during the World cup. But who should they sign?

TOBY ALDERWEIRELD 

At age 29 the player still plays like his early 20s and he’s on the verge of moving to Manchester United in the next 42 hours. After United failing to sign their top target Maguire because of the 80 million price tag given to him by Leicester City, Mourinho moved to his next target Toby.
3i verdict: Though still a good player but I think he’s getting old and United needs a young, good and consistence defender that’ll last them a long period of time.

HARRY MAGUIRE 

Over a couple years Maguire has been improving as a defender getting stronger everyday which earnd him a spot in England squad for the World cup and he also went on to have good performance at the just concluded World Cup.  Because of his spectacular performance at the world cup he topped the list of Mourinho wanted list and Mourinho tabled a 70 million offer for the services of the player to Leicester City but they were unwilling to let the player go for nothing less than 80 million.
3i Verdict: He’s a good, young and strong defender that clearly has a lot to offer United and can absolutely shape the defence if United acquire his services this season. If not for the price Leicester City want for the player I would have wanted United to sign him.

YERRY MINA

A good young defender at the age of 23. He got a call up to Colombia’s squad and he had a stellar performance at the world Cup. He moved from Palmeiras to Barcelona on 11th of January 2018 for a price of 11 million but he made only 5 appearance for the La Liga giant. Wanting to play more he decided make himself available for Manchester United, he was valued around 35 million.
3i Verdict: Good player with lots of good performances to offer United. I see him as a younger and cheap version of Harry Maguire, so I think Mourinho should sign him up.

JEROME BOATENG 

Jerome Boateng is a 29 year old experienced German football player that has helped Bayern Munich win 6 Bundesliga titles, 3 DFB POKAL, 2 DFL SUPER CUP, 1 champions league, 1 super cup and one club world cup. He also has the experience of playing in the Premier league, he played for United’s arch rivals City and won the F.A Cup in 2010.
3i Verdict: Boateng is a good experience player that could actually shape and strengthen the defence of Manchester United,  So we think he’ll be a good addition to the United squad.
