Premier league Preview; part2

Arsenal

Unai emery took over the gunners after Arsene Wenger resigned late last season.The new boss inherited a fairly good side with aging players like per mertesacker (retired). The transfer influx of the gun ers this season is somewhat surprising. Stefan lichesteiner was picked up on a free from Juventus and sokratis papasthaopoulos for an undisclosed fee from Borussia Dortmund. Lucas torreira was picked from sampdoria so as matteo guendouzi and bernd leno. The gunners freed santi carzola and jack wilshere and others to create a breating space in the time.

After a successful pre season campaign which include defeating PSG 5-1, The gunners would surely be a contender for an European ticket. But the question is,  can Unai Emery lead them to league  glory?

3i Football Prediction: UNCERTAINTY!!!!. But, we do know they’ll be in the top 6 next season. Maybe 4^th.

AFC Bournemouth

Eddie Howe led the cherries to finish a remarkably 12^th last season. Wow, for an average team like Bournemouth it’s a big something. Eddie Howe is definitely  among the premier league youngest managers and in 3 seasons, he got the best of the likes of matt Ritchie, Joshua king, Jermaine defoe, steven cook, Nathan Ake, Charlie daniels & co. Bournemouth had a poor transfer outing signing only David brooks & Diego Rico for undisclosed fees. With the tenacity of the premier league this season, can eddie Howe manage to keep Bournemouth afloat???

3i Football Prediction; AFC Bournemouth would definitely struggle this season. But it’s up to Eddie Howe & his boys to determine if they want to stay up or not. Best guess, second half of the table. Between 11-20.

Brighton & Hove Albion.

Chris Hughton & his Brighton merry band. Had a fair season last time. For a team just coming up from the Championships I’ll say not bad. The sea gulls had a problem with it’s defence last season. The partnership between Lewis Dunk & Duffy gave birth to over 5 own goals with the former claiming 4 of them. He aged Bruno on the full back position seemed consistent for an old man and the sea gulls struggled up front with only Glenn Murray proving to be the most productive of the club strikers ( Ulloa & Jerome Locadia). Luckily, Re-enforcement has been added to both the midfield & defence. Notably signing the Nigerian Defender Leon Balogun on a free from Mainz & Bernardo Da Silva for the defence. Pascal gross as expected would man the mid field but the inclusion of florian Andone from deportivo could breathe life to the  Attack. They should be able to finish th season on a better note than last.

3i Football Prediction: definitely bottom half of the table if no relegation.

Burnley

Well for the first time since ( I can recall). Sean Dyche’s Burnley would be playing European Football this season. For another Average club with Budgets like 1/10 of Man City. It’s a remarkable achievement. Sean dyche is a brilliant manager I must commend. Taking Burnley from the Championship to the Europa league in roughly 2-3 years. Sean’s connection with his players brings out the best in them. You always find a highly spirited Burnley side in every premier league game & that is the treason for the consistency. Vinnie steed & Ben Gibson are the only inclusion so far & we are certain we’ll see their best this season. Dean marney & scott Arfield are also gone but will Burnley still Maintain their elements of Surprises???.

3i Football Prediction: If all goess well, Burnley would finish in the top half to the early bottom half of the table. From 7^th – 14^th.

Chelsea

Antonio conte was sacked & replaced by the smoking Italian Mauricio Sarri. The blues are well, I don’t know what to say but are going to  find it difficult this season if they want to win Silverware. Recently lost the community shield to man city. In fact the blues were toothless recording just a single shot on target all game. The blues midfield was strenghthened with inclusion of jorginho from Napoli to join cesc Fabregas, N’golo Kante, ruben loftus cheek in the center of the park. The signing of rob green is really questionable though. Mauricio sari is recently known for getting the best of players so lets see what Chelsea got offer this season.

3i Football Prediction: they might struggle but should be able to finish in the top 6.

Crystal Palace

Roy Hodgson managed to keep palace afloat last season. With the inclusion of cheikhou kouyate, max meyer & vicente guaita. Palace is expected to struggle and manage to stay afloat once again. Nothing comes New out of crystal Palace.

3i Football Prediction: Relegation battle.

Everton

The toofes are the latest money  bag in the premier league. Spending £100 million on Sigurdsson & Richarlison ( juve got Ronaldo for that price). Everton transfers seems to be productive, they signed lucas digne from FC Barcelona coupled with Richarlison from Watford Marco Silva has a pretty looking squad with this guys inclusion to the rest of the squad. They’ll be expected to finish good next season.
