Ligue 1's Amiens Ask Zidane to Play for Them

Zinedine Zidane’s shock resignation from Real Madrid will no doubt leave plenty of interest in his services. However, his suitors are apparently interested in him as a player as well as manager!
The France legend abruptly called time on his reign at Real Madrid after two and a half seasons with the club, and days after securing a third successive Champions League crown.
After a run in the Spanish capital that also included a La Liga title in 2016-17, and Zidane’s youth for a head coach at age 45, it seems likely he will have many suitors hoping to land him as a manager in the near future.
Meanwhile, Ligue 1 side Amiens SC just completed the season in 13th place – while an unremarkable finish on the surface, it was the club’s first year in the French top flight in their 117 year history.
After news of Zidane’s resignation broke, the team took to Twitter to offer themselves up as a potential landing spot. However, Amiens manager Christophe Pelissier need not worry – not only is a team like that is unlikely to secure the services of Zidane the manager, the offer was for Zidane to return to the field as a player!
The tweet said: “Zinedine, If you want to come back into service as a player, we’re up for it!”

Marco Silva has been appointed as Everton new manager

Everton have announced the appointment of former Watford coach Marco Silva as their new manager, replacing Sam Allardyce.
Silva had been heavily linked with Everton before Allardyce was hired in November, having enjoyed a fine start to the season at Watford.
The Hornets signed Silva at the beginning of the campaign after he impressed at Hull City, despite their relegation at the end of the 2016-17 season.
But they cited Everton's initial approach as a major catalyst for Silva's sacking in January, following a run of one win in 11 Premier League matches.
When Watford refused to give Everton permission to speak to Silva, they turned to Allardyce and he ultimately steered them clear of trouble, finishing eighth in the Premier League.
But supporters never took to the former England manager and Everton confirmed his exit on May 16, paving the way for Silva – who was always the big favourite – to make his return to Premier League football.

Chelsea to Sell Courtois & Bid for Allison

😯*
Chelsea are likely to sell Thibaut Courtois and are considering entering the race for Roma goalkeeper Alisson, according to reports in Italy.
The Belgium international has just a year left on his current contract and the Blues have decided to stop negotiations over a renewal.
Courtois made 46 appearances for the Blues last season but they missed out on Champions League qualification and manager Antonio Conte's future remains in doubt heading into the summer, with Maurizio Sarri linked to the job.
The 26-year-old 'keeper has seemingly joined a number of first-team players whose futures are also shrouded in doubt, including Willian, who is understood to want to leave the club if Conte stays, with Manchester United interested.
Courtois recently hinted that his future was uncertain when he said "we'll see what is going to happen after the World Cup", following Chelsea's FA Cup triumph at Wembley.

Arsene Wenger could take up Real managerial job

News that Zinedine Zidane is on his way out of Real Madrid
has heightened speculation that Arsene Wenger could be a top
candidate to replace him at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The former Arsenal boss was wanted by Real Madrid in 2009
though they eventually plumped for Manuel
Pellegrini. Florentino Perez wanted Arsene Wenger to take over
the reins at the Santiago Bernabeu and was candid in
admitting as much.
“We have always liked the Frenchman and we talked a lot with
him,” the Real Madrid president said in an interview conducted
not long after Pellegrini’s appointment. “But he feels very
responsible of what is going on and of what is going to
happen next at Arsenal. He did not want to leave this club
which he has given a lot to.”
This wasn’t the first time that Perez had taken a fancy to
Wenger. In fact, it has been reported that the Frenchman was
approached by Real Madrid as many as 10 times over the
past 15 years or so. Perez developed an obsession with
the Arsenal manager and it didn’t sit well that he was unable
to lure him to the Spanish capital. The Real Madrid chief is
used to getting his own way.
Wenger has reportedly been approached by several interested
parties to take another job in football. “Will I take a little rest?
I will continue to work, that’s for sure,” said Wenger as he left
the Emirates, also hinting that he will try to stay at the top of
the European game.
In that respect, Real Madrid would certainly fit the bill. For the
first time in 22 years Wenger will be a free agent this summer
and Real Madrid could feasibly be on the lookout for a new
manager. Things could finally be aligned for the two parties.
Wenger has previously admitted that he finds the prospect of
working under Perez at Real Madrid “interesting,” with the
Frenchman very nearly giving into temptation nine years ago.
Although it should be noted that a lot has changed since Perez
made his last public approach for Wenger. In 2009, Wenger
was still considered among the best in the game, still at the
forefront of management. Now, his stock has fallen
considerably.
But Perez has never been one to shirk a bold managerial
appointment. Zidane was a bold appointment, as was Rafa
Benitez before that. Benitez was a downright unpopular
appointment, but Perez had (ultimately misplaced) faith in his
close friend. Wenger might be next on his list, given how long
his name has been written down.

Zinedine Zidane resigns as Real Madrid manager

Zinedine Zidane has resigned as manager of Real Madrid today. The Frenchman announced his decision after calling for an impromptu press conference following a meeting with club President Florentino Perez.
While the reason for the presser was not given, most of the Spanish news outlets had already come to the conclusion that Zidane had resigned. And it was proved right by the French great who confirmed the decision to step down.
Zidane enjoyed sensational success with the Los Blancos in two and a half years, winning the Champions League thrice and the LaLiga once apart from the Club World Cup.
Florentino Perez said, "Zinedine Zidane communicated to me yesterday the unexpected decision that he will leave as coach."
Zidane explained, "I love this club and the president who gave me the chance to play for this club and manage the club of my dreams. But everything changes and that's why I've taken the decision to leave."
"What I think is that this team needs to continue winning but I think it needs a change, a different voice, another methodology and that's why I took this decision."

Aston Villa Release Terry⭐ After Play-off Final Defeat

John Terry and Aston Villa have parted ways after one season, the defender and the Championship club announced on Wednesday.
Terry joined Villa last summer after seeing his time with Chelsea draw to a close and captained the side to the final of the play-offs after a fourth-placed finish in the regular league season.
However, Villa ultimately fell 1-0 to Fulham at Wembley Stadium, denying them a return to the Premier League after a two-year absence.
And Villa confirmed his contract will not be renewed for the 2018-19 campaign as they look to cut costs.
“We would like to place on record our most sincere thanks for the effort and professionalism [Terry] showed with us last season,” the club said in a statement.
“John is a true leader and was everything and more that we hoped. Hugely popular and influential in the dressing room, he played a real captain’s role in creating the incredible bond the players shared with our supporters, and vice-versa.
“We hope he looks back on his time with Villa fondly and we wish him the very best as his career moves forward.”

Tempers Flare at Germany🇩🇪 Camp as Rudiger & Kimmich Clash

Germany may be the current World Cup champions but it seems things aren’t running as smoothly as manager Joachim Low would like in his training camp.
Indeed, Tuesday’s training session took a turn for the worst after Antonio Rudiger and Joshua Kimmich clashed with one another following a strong tackle from the Chelsea defender.
The Bayern Munich player took objection to Rudiger’s overzealous challenge and proceeded to square up to his international teammate.
According to Bild, assistant coach Miroslav Klose quickly intervened after the two players clashed heads during the confrontation.
The rough and tumble didn’t stop there, with Julian Draxler requiring treatment after taking an elbow to the face. The PSG man wasn’t out of action for long, though, thanks to the help of a quick ice pack.
Germany’s players will be keen to make their presence felt under the watchful eye of Low, who has yet to announce his final 23-man squad for next month’s tournament in Russia.

Reports📰: Man City💎 in Advanced Talks to Sign Jorginho

Manchester City are in advanced talks to sign Napoli midfielder Jorginho, according to reports.
City have reportedly made an offer in the region of £40m for the 26-year-old but the Serie A side are holding out for at least £44m.
The Premier League champions have been monitoring the player for a while and he is on a list of summer transfer targets.
Jorginho, who has two years left on his current deal, has made 36 appearances for Napoli this season, scoring three goals, including one against City in the Champions League in November.
The Italian's agent has previously said Jorginho will join the Premier League champions if they can reach a deal this summer.

Lewa⭐ Leaving Future to Agent Amid Chelsea & Real Links

Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has refused to distance himself from claims he wants to leave the Bundesliga champions.
Lewandowski's agent Pini Zahavi told Sport Bild his client is keen to move on after four consecutive top-flight title triumphs at the Allianz Arena.
"Robert feels that he needs a change and a new challenge in his career," said Zahavi, who helped to broker Neymar's world-record move from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain last August.
Addressing a news conference while on duty with the Poland national team on Wednesday, Lewandowski looked to sidestep the issue but confirmed his future remains in Zahavi's hands.
"My agent takes care of these things," he said. "I am focused on the preparations for the World Cup.
"That is the most important thing. I do not think about anything else."

Mou Scouts Arnautovic Amid Man Utd Links

Jose Mourinho was spotted at a friendly between Austria and Russia on Wednesday, as rumours swirl he is targeting a move for Austrian forward Marko Anautovic.
The West Ham star has been linked with a big money move to the north of England as Mourinho looks to bring in reinforcements for Manchester United behind Romelu Lukaku.
The pair previously worked together in 2009-10 at Inter, when Arnautovic was on loan from Twente, but the move did not work out.
The forward only appeared in three Serie A contests as a substitute, with Mourinho saying the striker had “the mentality of a child” and claimed he was "unmanageable".
However, that was eight years ago, and the 29-year-old Arnautovic has displayed quality since then, scoring 11 goals last season for West Ham after making a £20 million ($24m) move from Stoke City, where he had spent the previous four seasons. He also added six assists in his 31 Premier League appearances
It was the second time in three seasons Arnautovic had scored 11 goals and added six assists, having managed it with Stoke in 2015-16.

CR7's Mother Wants Man Utd♦ Return Over PSG

Cristiano Ronaldo has hinted at a summer move away from Real Madrid and his mother would prefer a return to Manchester United over a switch to Paris Saint-Germain .
Having helped the Blancos to a third successive Champions League crown, the Portuguese went on to refer to his time at the Santiago Bernabeu in the past tense .
Transfer talk was immediately sparked, with Ronaldo offering contradictory messages regarding his future since then to keep the rumour mill ticking over .
United and PSG would form part of that exclusive club and Dolores Aveiro has suggested to her son that a second stint at Old Trafford should be taken in if he really does want a fresh start.
She told SFR Sport prior to Ronaldo’s exit hint in Kiev: “I like Paris. I go there now and again.
“The last time was with my son when he won the Ballon D'Or. I felt very proud.
“Every time I go to Paris, everyone treats me very well.
“If I'm telling you the truth, I wouldn't mind, but I would prefer him to return to Manchester.”

Mo Salah could be fit for the world cup knockout stage

Mo Salah⚡ Could Be Fit in Time for World Cup🏆 Knockout Stage*
Egypt forward Mohamed Salah’s shoulder injury will keep him out of action for three to four weeks, Liverpool’s club physio has said, meaning he could miss the World Cup group stage.
The 25-year-old is desperate to play for Egypt in only their third World Cup and their first for 28 years but faces a race against time to be fit for next month’s Group A games.
“He is sad about what happened but is totally focused on recovery, seeing when he can be ready,” physio Ruben Pons told Spanish sports newspaper Marca of the injury to Salah during Liverpool’s Champions League final defeat by Real Madrid.
“In principle it will be between three and four weeks but we will try to reduce those dates, that’s the big goal,” he added.
Egypt begin their World Cup campaign against Uruguay on June 15, before facing hosts Russia on June 19 and Saudi Arabia on June 25, meaning if Salah takes four weeks to recover he could be fit in time for the knockout phase.

Ramos⭐ Escapes UEFA Charge for Karius Clash💥

The Real Madrid captain struck Liverpool's goalkeeper in the head with his right elbow during a Real Madrid attack.
Replays also appeared to show Ramos being pushed in Karius' direction by Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk.
UEFA has a rule which allows cases to be opened for cases of serious misconduct that were not seen by match officials, but they said the rule "is not applied in this case."
UEFA added that "no other protest has been lodged."
Ramos angered Liverpool - and Egypt - fans earlier in the game when he challenged Mohamed Salah, forcing him to leave the pitch in tears during the first half.

Lampard to manage Derby County?

Frank Lampard is close to signing a deal to become the next Derby County manager, reportedly
The Rams have been searching for a new manager since the departure of Gary Rowett to Sky Bet Championship rivals Stoke last week.
Lampard and Derby are reportedly keen to get the deal done.
Jody Morris, who has led Chelsea's U18s to the FA Youth Cup in successive seasons, is expected to join Lampard as part of his coaching staff at Pride Park.
Lampard confirmed on Saturday that he was in talks with Derby over becoming the club's new boss, with the 39-year-old keen to take his first steps into management.

Dominant France🇫🇷 Eases Past Ireland in World Cup🏆 Warm-up

France kicked off their run of World Cup warm-up fixtures with a show of dominance in a 2-0 victory over Republic of Ireland in Paris on Monday.
Olivier Giroud and Nabil Fekir scored as the hosts eased to a comfortable win in their first match since Didier Deschamps named his 23-man squad for Russia.
Giroud's 40th-minute opener came after France had completely controlled the early stages, before a mistake by goalkeeper Colin Doyle played a part in Nabil Fekir's second.
Ireland, meanwhile, never came close to threatening to make a game of it on their first visit to the Stade de France since Thierry Henry's infamous handball memorably led to their defeat in a qualifying play-off for the 2010 World Cup.

Dortmund Complete €5m Wolf Signing

Borussia Dortmund have confirmed that they have completed the signing of Marius Wolf from Frankfurt for a reported fee of €5 million.
The 23-year-old winger has signed a five-year deal with the club that will see him tied to BVB until 2023.
In a statement, the player said: "My goal is to be successful with Dortmund in the coming years and, if possible, to win one or more titles.
"I'm very happy that I have the opportunity to develop myself further at such a big club."
Meanwhile, sporting director Michael Zorc commented: "Marius Wolf is a very capable player with a great deal of vision. The combination of his outstanding athletic ability and his outstanding mentality makes him a perfect player for Borussia Dortmund."
Wolf is coming off a successful season with Frankfurt, during which he played 34 times and scored six goals, adding a further 11 assists.

Egyptian Lawyer Files €1 bn💰 Lawsuit Against Ramos

An Egyptian lawyer has launched a €1 billion (£873m/$1.2bn) lawsuit against Sergio Ramos after Liverpool and Egypt star Mohamed Salah was injured in a challenge with the Real Madrid captain during Saturday's Champions League final.
Salah landed heavily on his left shoulder after grappling with Ramos during the Kiev showpiece and ligament damage around the joint placed his World Cup participation in doubt.
The Premier League Golden Boot winner posted on Twitter on Sunday to say he was "confident" he would be able to represent Hector Cuper's side at Russia 2018 , but that has done nothing to quell the apparent anger of lawyer Bassem Wahba.
In an appearance on Egyptian television channel Sada El-Balad , Wahba announced he had filed a complaint to FIFA and accused Ramos of a deliberate act and inflicting "physical and psychological harm" upon a nation and its most celebrated footballer.
"Ramos intentionally injured Mo Salah and should be punished about his actions," he claimed. "I've filed a lawsuit and a complaint to FIFA.
"I'll ask for compensation, which could exceed €1 billion, for the physical and psychological harm that Ramos gave Salah and the Egyptian people."

*🚨Breaking: Liverpool acquire Fabinho from Monaco*

Liverpool have agreed to sign Monaco midfielder Fabinho in a deal that could be worth more than £40m.
The Brazil international, 24, will join the Champions League finalists on 1 July for around £39m (45m euros).
A further £4m (5m euros) could be added in performance-related bonus payments and Fabinho's arrival will likely be followed by the departure of Emre Can.
Fabinho has spent spells playing as a right-back but has excelled in defensive midfield and is viewed as a replacement for Can, who is out of contract this summer and has repeatedly been linked with Juventus.
Fabinho's arrival is the first sign that Klopp will not allow the grass to grow under Liverpool's feet as he tries to claim his first trophy with them when he starts his third full season at Anfield in August.

Manchester United to strengthen defence with Toby Alderweireld

According to the Daily Mirror, Manchester United have opened talks with Premier League rivals Tottenham about signing centre-back Toby Alderweireld. The Belgian international fell out-of-favour at Spurs towards the end of the season after a contract dispute.
The highly-rated defender is out-of-contract at the north London club in the summer of 2020, but negotiations over a new deal have so far stalled. Reportedly, Spurs are now willing to allow the former Atletico Madrid star leave. A fee of around £75million is mooted in the media, which reportedly United are happy to pay.

One of the best centre-backs
Since his arrival at Southampton on –loan back in 2014, Alderweireld has established himself as one of the best centre-backs in the Premier League. The 29-year-old has played a key part in Tottenham becoming one of the best defensive units in the English top-flight.
However, an injury and a failure to agree a new deal with the north London led to the defender’s exile from the Spurs starting line-up. Summer signing Colombian centre-back Davinson Sanchez has taken Alderweireld’s starting spot alongside compatriot Jan Vertonghen.
It seems that boss Mauricio Pochettino has decided that Alderweireld is no longer needed at the club. According to reports, Alderweireld and full-back Danny Rose could both be heading for the exit this summer.

Mourinho looking at a defensive overhaul
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is set to overhaul his defensive options for a second consecutive summer. Last summer the Portuguese boss bought Ivory Coast international Eric Bailly and Swedish star Victor Lindelof in big money deals.
Bailly started the campaign well. However, injury problems hampered his season. The 24-year-old saw himself out of the United team towards the end of last season, which led to reports of a summer exit.
However, he has now stated that he is not going anywhere this summer and is happy at United. Bailly showed in flashes that he could be a very Premier League centre-back. Lindelof struggled for first team football at Old Trafford in his debut campaign. When the Sweden international did play, he produced some unconvincing performances.
The likes of Chris Smalling and Phil Jones always seem to have a mistake in them. Jones conceding the crucial match-winning penalty against Chelsea was a prime example of that.
None of the four centre-backs are the most reliable. United goalkeeper David De Gea was overworked last season, winning the Premier League Golden Gloves award. The Spaniard praised his defensive teammates, but in truth, he bailed them out on a concerning amount of occasions.
It is understandable that Mourinho wants to improve his defensive options. Alderweireld would definitely be a stellar signing, even if as reported he will cost the Red Devils £75million.
The fee seems to be an issue for some, mainly due to the defender being 29. However, if he helps United win the Premier League title next season, the defender’s price tag will be quickly forgotten.

Rivals for the Premier League title
The two teams are expected to compete for the Premier League title next season, with United odds of 11/2 to win the title and Spurs odds of 11/1.
Looking from the outside in, it seems that Tottenham would be strengthening one of their top-six rivals by selling Alderweireld to United. However, the Belgian international will not be happy sitting on the Spurs bench and will probably get a big pay rise in Manchester.
Some observers have stated that they think Tottenham would be the winners from Toby Alderweireld moving to Manchester United. However, the defender is a top player and Spurs may well regret it if they sell the defender to the Red Devils.

Who would be getting the better deal  if Tottenham sold Toby Alderweireld to United for £75million?

Nigeria and Congo DR plays out a 1-1 draw.

Despite getting an early lead through Troost-Ekong, the Super Eagles were forced to a share of the spoils after Aina conceded a penaltyNigeria were held to a 1-1 stalemate in their pre-World Cup friendly against Congo DR at the Adokiye Amiesimake Stadium on Monday evening.
The Super Eagles got off to a perfect start with defender William Troost-Ekong scoring his first international goal in the 14th minute, but a rash challenge from second-half substitute Ola Aina paved the way for a comeback from their adventurous visitors, as Ben Malango netted the equaliser from the penalty spot.
Gernot Rohr handed debuts to Simeon Nwankwo and Junior Lokosa, with Kelechi Iheanacho completing a three-man attack. While Oghenekaro Etebo and Elderson Echiejile returned to the side and Tyronne Ebuehi continued in the right-back position.
For Congo, Florent Ibenge had Benik Afobe lead the line, with Paul-José M'Poku providing support for the Bournemouth striker.
In an opening exchange that saw the hosts dominate proceedings, the first chance of the game fell to Nwankwo, who hit the post with a ferocious left-footed effort after showing impressive skill to get past a Congo defender. Iheanacho's effort from the rebound was blocked.
However, in the eighth minute, the Super Eagles were tested but goalkeeper Francis Uzoho's reactionary save prevented Afobe from breaking the deadlock.
Six minutes later, Nigeria opened the scoring through Troost-Ekong, off a routine free-kick.
Etebo, standing over the setpiece, and Iheancho combined well to con the Congolese defence with the Bursaspor defender adding the finishing touch.
Afterwards, the visitors enjoyed more possession, camping Rohr's men - who mostly played on the break - in their half.
Afobe almost levelled proceedings but saw his shot flash wide off the target in what was the last meaningful action of the opening 45 minutes.
After the break, it took some while for the game to get going as, again, a touch from Nwankwo sparked it to life. The lanky marksman displayed his aerial prowess after he connected perfectly to a long throw from Aina but saw his header thwarted by Leopards goalkeeper Anthony Mossi.
Ten minutes later, the Crotone striker almost helped Nigeria get a second after piling pressure on Mossi but Etebo’s curled effort missed the unguarded net.
But with 12 minutes left, Afobe’s replacement Malango got the equaliser for the visitors from the spot after Aina was penalised for bringing down a marauding Issama Mpeko.
Immediately, Iwobi sought to find a response but his effort went whiskers away from the bottom corner, and the Rohr's side had to settle for a share of the spoils.

CR7 apologies for dropping hint about exiting Real Madrid.

Cristiano Ronaldo has admitted he may have spoken out of turn in suggesting that his Real Madrid days were numbered after the Champions League final.
Having starred for Madrid throughout the competition, this year's top scorer drew a blank against Liverpool in Kiev.
Ronaldo, however, stole the headlines when he referred to his sparkling Madrid career in the past tense to reporters. He said, "It was very nice to be at Real Madrid, in the coming days I will talk about it more."
That statement caused an instant reaction, with both Madrid president Florentino Perez and coach Zinedine Zidane speaking out to deny his exit.
And while he later claimed he was taken out of context, the Portugal striker seemed to regret the storm his comments had caused.
"It takes away from a beautiful, historic moment for us that is winning three Champions Leagues in a row, obviously it is a special moment," he told Fox Sports.
"A player's personal things aren't the most important thing now, it might have been taken out of context but maybe I shouldn't have said what I said."

World Cup: 10 young talent to watch out for this world cup.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup is less than a month away and anticipation slowly reaches its boiling point.
Participating nations are slowly beginning their preparations as manager begin polishing their squads after a grueling season.
As we approach the showpiece tournament in Russia, here is a look at some of the young players who could end up stealing the limelight and lighting up the stage at the World Cup.
Four years ago it was the Colombia star James Rodriguez who took it on his own to turn the heads of many with his absolutely incredible exploits at the World Cup in Brazil. At just 23 years of age, James Rodriguez was rewarded with a £63 million move to Real Madrid which made him the most expensive Colombian player of all time.
Looking at all the talent expected to arrive to Russia this summer, there is a long list of players who could take centre stage at World Cup and we did our best to trim it down to Top 10 players who are likely to explode at the global stage.
Kicking it off straight away, we start from the most obvious.
Kylian Mbappe
Paris Saint-Germain forward needs little introduction. Already a superstar at club level who has gone a great length over the period of just one year, Kylian Mbappe is a 19-year-old wonderkid who is expected to be one of the leading forces in the French squad.
An already established name in the Champions League, as well as in Ligue 1 where he made a double impact – first with AS Monaco and then at PSG – Kylian Mbappe is wearing a £166 million price tag on his back. It won’t prevent him from showing what’s he all about, however.
Gabriel Jesus
From painting the streets of Rio De Janeiro ahead of the 2014 World Cup to becoming one of the leading stars in the Brazilian national team, Manchester City forward is another player who went a long way in just a short period of time.
Jesus joined Citizens as a 19-year-old kid from Palmeiras and used all of his style, swagger and incredible attacking versatility to set the Premier League on fire. It took him only months to establish himself as one of the biggest attacking stars in Europe and he is out to strut his stuff at a global stage at Brazil seek a chance to lift the coveted trophy.
Four years after the semi-final embarrassment against Germany, the Celesao are now the biggest tournament favourites at 4/1 betting odds.
Giovani Lo Celso
The diminutive Argentina midfielder enjoyed a fantastic season in Ligue 1, helping PSG to their French title with 33 appearances, four goals and 3 assists. The 22-year-old ended up being a PSG player with most appearances in the league, which is a small prize that came as a huge confirmation of his ability.
Usually a part of the middle three at Parc de Princes, Giovani Lo Celso is a versatile attacking midfielder comfortable in a number of positions at the centre of the park. As he prepares to travel to Russia in Leo Messi’s shadow, Lo Celso will once again bide his time hoping to seize his opportunity to shine in Russia.
Trent Alexander-Arnold
A surprise inclusion in Gareth Southgate’s World Cup squad, the England right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold is coming off from a fantastic season with Liverpool. Coming on as a replacement for injured Nathaniel Clyne, the 19-year-old Liverpool-born teenager came of age to cement a starting berth at Reds this season and notch up the total of 30 appearances across all competitions for the Champions League finalists.
And although lists like these often highlight the attack-oriented talents who are more easily noticed at a competition such as the World Cup, Trent Alexander-Arnold definitely could be one of the players to emerge from the talent-packed Three Lions squad. Instead of going for a sure choice – Marcus Rashford – we decided to back the Liverpool youngster who is over the moon with England inclusion and will be blowing flames in Russia.
Achraf Hakimi
A promising Morocco international is another defender on this list who is simply too good to miss out on. the 19-year-old Real Madrid defender has had a difficult season with Los Blancos but has already received backing from Zinedine Zidane and a promise that he will be a part of 20-25 games next season in order to continue his development.
Nine La Liga appearances this season were not enough for the Moroccan talent to display his full array of talent. Russia stands as his chance to further raise his stock and claim his stake on a first-team place at Santiago Bernabeu. Ranked among Europe’s 50 most promising Under-20 footballers by the CIES Football Observatory earlier this year, Achref Hakimi is definitely one to watch.
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic
Serbia star midfielder did not take part in his team’s World Cup qualifiers which ended up costing Slavoljub Muslin his job as Serbia manager. The FA see Lazio midfielder as one of the best Serbia have and were willing to sacrifice the man who brought Eagles back of the map after long eight years just to have Milinkovic-Savic back in the team.
Serbian midfielder enjoyed a formidable season in Serie A. Milinkovic-Savic established himself as one of the key players for Lazio and the hottest prospect in Italy. Compared to Paul Pogba from his Juventus days, the Sergeant as they call him in Italy has already alarmed the likes of PSG, Juventus and Manchester United. Russia could very much end up being his springboard to worldwide prominence.
Hirving Lozano
The PSV stalwart has inherited a torch previously held by the likes of Javier Hernandez, Carlos Vela or Andres Guardado and it’s now Hirving Chucky Lozano’s turn to shine. Chucky has been the shining light of the Eredivisie this last season. His 14 goals and seven assists were enough to turn the heads of Europe’s most prominent sides.
Still 22 years of age, the Mexican star winger is quick, agile and incredibly talented. His staggering performances carry a huge entertainment element along them and Hirving Chucky Lozano definitely is a player who could end up lighting the stage on fire in Russia.
Timo Werner
Not exactly a new name on this list, Timo Werner has been a constant and consistent attacking force in Germany for several years now. The RB Leipzig sensation has enjoyed another fruitful season which resulted in 47 first team appearances in all competitions, 22 goals and a tally of 9 assists.
The 22-year-old German international is the leader of a new generation of talented players world champions have at their disposal and the showpiece tournament in Russia will be his chance to further prove why a side such as Real Madrid have him in their scouting books.
Davinson Sanchez
Colombia international Davinson Sanchez earned a reputation of a quiet but strong defender while playing at Ajax. The 21-year-old took his composure and level-headedness with him to England as well where he dominated the Tottenham backline alongside Jan Verthongen.
The total of 31 Premier League appearances for Spurs speak volume of an instant impression Sanchez made on Maurizio Pochettino. The Tottenham starlet is expected to form a stronghold in Colombia’s defense and help the undyeable attacking talent in Colombia’s ranks move forward and potentially do something big in Russia.
Marco Asensio
The total of 50 competitive outings in a single season is a remarkable tally for a 22-year-old. Such a huge number of first-team appearances serves as proof of Marco Asensio’s significance for Real Madrid.
Ferocious shot is not all you need to know about the Spanish international. Marco Asensio thrives in a central midfield role behind the striker where he is best capable of splashing his vision and creativity. An intelligent player, Asensio is fantastic at dribbling and not easily dispossessed. A commanding presence at Real Madrid’s midfield, this young player could end up being an integral part of Julen Lopetegui’s squad in Russia.

Liverpool 1-3 Real Madrid: Gareth Bale shows class as he hands Madrid their 13th champions league trophy.

Gareth Bale netted a double after coming off the bench to secure Real Madrid a 3-1 victory over Liverpool in the Champions League final on Saturday night.

Championship Play-offs🏆: Fulham Secure PL Promotion

Ten-man Fulham have secured promotion to the Premier League with a 1-0 victory over Aston Villa at Wembley in Saturday's Championship play-off final.
Wolves and Cardiff City have already secured automatic promotion with first and second-placed finishes respectively, but the Cottagers are assured of a spot in the top tier for 2018-19 following a remarkable second half of the season.
Fulham lost just once in the regular season since the beginning of 2018, in their final game before the play-offs against Birmingham City, which denied them a dramatic automatic promotion.
A 2-1 aggregate win over Derby County in the semi-finals secured a clash with Steve Bruce's Villa, who eliminated Middlesbrough over two legs in the previous round.
Tom Cairney's goal in the first half - assisted by English teenage wing sensation Ryan Sessegnon - gave Slavisa Jokanovic's side the upper hand heading in at half-time.
Denis Odoi's 70th-minute red card made Fulham sweat for a victory, faced with the prospect of 30 minutes of extra time with one less player should Aston Villa have scored, but they successfully held on for a euphoric victory.
