10 young talent to watch out for this world cup: 3! final verdict

A while back I did a post on the top ten talent to watch out for in the world cup, now I’m here to do a follow up story on their time in the Russia 2018 World Cup. We at 3! Football would Give our Verdict on each player and their Performance at the just concluded World Cup.

1. KYLIAN MBAPPE

The 19 year old France sensation Kylian Mbappe enjoyed a successful spell at the Russia 2018 World Cup.
Mbappe scored 4 goals in the world cup, his first goal came in a 1-0 win over Peru,  which made him France youngest goal scorer in history in a world cup tournament. He scored twice in the round of 16 match against Argentina and was also named the man of the match in the match.
His last goal of the tournament came in the final of the world cup from 25 yard in a 4-2 victory over Croatia. He also went on to win the best young  player of the Russia 2018 world cup and also lifted the world cup in his first appearance in the world cup.
Final Verdict: SUPERB!!!. If he keeps up with this pace then we have a Successor to the Ronaldo/Messi Dynasty.

2. GABRIEL JESUS
With his superb finishing skills and versatility up front, Gabriel Fernando de Jesus has become one of Brazil’s biggest breakout stars of recent years. 
He started in all of Brazil 5 matches in Russia World Cup but failed to score a goal, he made one assist for Brazil. He  made 10 attempt, 1 on target, 5 off target, 4 blocked and made a total of 92 passes in the tournament. But because of his lack of goals in world cup his time in the tournament wasn’t a successful one.
Final Verdict: A Fine player but poor Record at The WC as a Striker......POOR!!!

3. GOIVANI LO’CELSO

The 22 year old sensation plays for Paris Saint-Germain, is a talented attacking midfielder with great vision to set up a striker,  but he wasn’t given the opportunity to wow the fans at the 2018 Russia World Cup as he did not play a single match in the tournament.
Final Verdict: AVERAGE!!!!

4. TRENT ALEXANDER-ARNOLD

The 19 year old full-back plays for Liverpool, with a number of good performances he was able to chase Nathaniel Clyne out of  the position and  he was also able to chase Clyne out of the England squad, but he only made one appearance in the World cup.
Final Verdict: Due to lack of playing time, We'll give him.....AVERAGE!!!

5. ACHRAF HAKIMI

At the tender age of 19 Hakim has played a handful of match for Real Madrid, during which we became the first Moroccan to score for the La Liga giant, this  earned him a spot in the Morocco 23 man squad. He played 3 matches for Morocco, he made 1 attempt on goal, made a total of 94 passes, he has 2 tackle and is one of the most disciplined defender at the world cup just having 1 yellow card and committed 2 fouls. He has a good performance in the World cup.
Final Verdict: GOOD!!!

6. SERGEJ MILINKOVIC-SAVIC

Milinkovic-Savic is a strong holding midfielder for Lazio, he’s 6ft 3. He had a good game against Costa Rica, he made 1 shot, won 2 aerial duels, made 15 passes, he won 100% of his tackle and completed 100% dribbles. And he failed to impress in his second match .
Final Verdict: FAIR!!!

7. HIRING LOZANO

In June 2018, Lozano was named in Mexico's 23-man squad for the World Cup in Russia. He scored the lone goal in a 1–0 win over defending champions Germany in Mexico's opening group match on 17 June. He was named FIFA Man of the Match for his performance. On 23 June, in Mexico's second match against South Korea, Lozano provided the assist to Javier Hernández in scoring Mexico's second goal in their 2–1 win. Lozano started in all four matches for Mexico during the World Cup as they were eliminated by Brazil in the round of 16.
Final Verdict: "Chucky" Lozano as I like to call him for stabbing Germany in the Heart. He had a Good time at Russia so we'll give him.....GOOD

8. TIMO WERNER

On 4 June 2018, The 22 year old RB Leipzig Timo Werner was included in Germany's final 23-man squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. He made his first World Cup appearance on 17 June, starting in a 1–0 loss to Mexico in Germany's opening match. He featured in both of the remaining group stages fixtures but failed to score as Germany were eliminated at the group stage for the first time since 1938.
Final Verdict: A fine player, But Timo couldn't convert his chances in Front of the Goal like against South Korea. We give him...... POOR

9. DAVISON SANCHEZ

In June 2018 the Tottenham hotspur strong defender was named in Colombia's final 23 man squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. He played in all three group matches and their round of 16 match, during his time at the wold cup he manage to score 3 goals. He was pretty solid at the back with some strong tackling.
Final Verdict: Fair

10. MARCO ASCENSIO

The 22 year old winger plays for Real Madrid was included in Julen Lopetegui's 2018 FIFA World Cup squad, making his debut in the competition on 20 June by replacing Real Madrid teammate Lucas Vázquez for the final ten minutes of the 1–0 group stage win against Iran.
Final Verdict: Due to lack of Playing Time. He had a no show World Cup so we'll give him AVERAGE
